This exhibition presents Utagawa Hiroshige's series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō, from the Ukiyo-e Collection of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Money Museum, located in Nagoya.
The Hoeido edition of The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō held by the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Money Museum is a relatively early printing highly regarded for its excellent condition. Explore The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō through 75 pieces, including all 55 prints of the Hoeido edition, and selected pieces centered on the Tokai region from the Gyōsho and Reisho editions, and the Tate-e Tōkaidō series.
